Crowded garage? We design, build and install custom garage cabinets, overhead storage and workbenches that get everything up off the floor. Family-owned and serving Santa Clara, San Jose and the surrounding Bay Area since 2007, we handle your project from the first measurement through installation day.
Why floating garage cabinets
Most garage cabinets sit on the floor, and that's where the trouble starts. Anything resting on the slab is in the path of water, dust and whatever rolls underneath, and you have to drag the unit out to sweep behind it. Our garage cabinets mount to the wall studs instead. The floor stays clear end to end, so you can hose out or blow out the garage without working around cabinet bases, and an uninterrupted floor makes a two-car garage read wider than it is. Legs are available if you prefer the look, but a wall-supported system doesn't need them to carry the load.
Planning your garage storage layout
A designer measures the space and asks what actually lives in your garage: bikes, power tools, sports gear, holiday bins, a second refrigerator. That inventory sets the layout. Tall cabinets take long-handled tools and bulk items, upper cabinets clear the wall above a work bench, and overhead storage racks hold the bins you open twice a year. Slatwall goes where things need to stay visible and easy to grab. Most garages end up with a cabinet run along one wall, a work bench section, and overhead storage above where the car parks.
Finishes, hardware and work surfaces
Standard cabinets are white with 1/4-inch backing and four adjustable one-inch shelves, so a bay can hold paint cans one year and power tools the next. Doors are flat half-overlay on soft-close hinges, with 7-inch handles in chrome, satin nickel or black. Color upgrades are available if white isn't the look you want, and a butcher block or laminate countertop turns a run of base cabinets into a work bench. Add cabinet and task lighting, a shoe cabinet by the house door, pull-out drawers for hardware, or a mudroom drop zone.
Garage cabinet installation in Santa Clara and San Jose
We're a family-owned shop in Santa Clara and we build in our own facility. After the consultation you review 2D and 3D renderings before anything is cut. Once you approve the design and place a deposit, we remeasure, build and schedule the install. Most garages go in within one to three days depending on size. We tear out and haul away the old setup, and paint touch-ups are included. Call (408) 420-0284 or request a free estimate.
